JUNCTION BOX

It allows you to interconnect the instruments to the communication network for use the Sitrad, and has internal protection to reduce the noise coming from motors, electric cables, power line fluctuations, among others.

The Junction Box (BC-01) is an accessory used to connect multiple controllers in an RS-485 network. It can connect controllers on the RS-485 of the converter interfaces (CONV-32, TCP-485 or Sitrad Inbox) to be accessible on Sitrad PRO. Built in with internal protections reduce electrical noises (interference), from electrical motors and power cables

The terminal of the Junction Box must be connected to the respective terminals of each controller, as follows:

Terminal A of the controller is connected to terminal A of the Junction Box, which, in turn, must be connected to Terminal A of the converter interface;

Repeat the procedure for the B terminals and the ground cable (external mesh);

A and B Terminals of Junction Box must be connected to the respective A and B Terminals of each controller.

IMPORTANT: If the RS-485 is longer than 100m (328ft), add a 120 Ohms resistor between terminals A and B of the last Junction Box.

Note: All the instruments named Log, Plus and Super, available to connect to Sitrad PRO are compatible.
