Copper fittings Elbow
Copper Elbows are used in various applications to change the direction of the flow of the substances that is being carried in a system. There are many options when it comes to fittings, some of the key features that need to be verified when using a Elbow fittings.
You may find C x C which means it will be soldered in to the copper elbow as the elbow has a Cup that will fit the copper pipe. FTG x C which means that one end will receive a same size pipe while the other has a cup.
Short turn or long turn, this will mainly depend on the application and the distance available to make the turn and how much drop in flow is allowed in your system, when the short turn is used there is high drop.
The angle is also important, you can find the most common ones 90 degree or 45 degree angles which you will use according to the design pattern on your system.
